justteachers is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Maths Teacher to join our supply team, teaching at a well-regarded school in the Ilkley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for mathematics with eager learners in both KS3 and KS4. The role is set to start in February to cover a Maternity Leave, with shortlisting beginning now.

Your Role:

  • Teach Maths across all key stages, including GCSE and Further Maths, following the AQA specification.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that help students build strong mathematical skills and confidence.
  • Support students in their preparation for exams, providing clear guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their best.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to develop a love for maths.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Maths at GCSE and Further Maths.
  • Familiarity with the AQA specification and a solid understanding of the curriculum requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students to excel in mathematics.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic school setting.
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • Two education or school-based references are essential.
