Justteachers is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher to join a supportive school near Great Yarmouth. This full-time, long-term supply role begins as soon as possible and continues until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

This role offers you the chance to inspire students with engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, fostering their curiosity and enthusiasm for the sciences while contributing to their academic success.

Responsibilities of the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes scientific inquiry.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s vision and success.

Requirements for the Role:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Have experience teaching science subjects at secondary school level.
  • Are enthusiastic about inspiring students and developing their understanding of science.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to apply for one.
  • Can provide two education or school-based references to support their application.
