justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Horncastle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop students’ mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and logical thinking to support their academic success.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement and achievement in mathematics.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department to develop and refine the curriculum and actively participate in school activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
  • Two education or school-based references
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UK
