We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school near Brighouse. This is a long-term, full-time position starting from Easter 2025. If you have a strong background in teaching Humanities, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students, we want to hear from you.

As a valued member of our team, you will:

  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain high standards of behaviour.
  • Support students in developing their academic potential and personal growth.
  • Participate in school activities, including staff meetings, parent evenings, and extracurricular programs.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge up to Key Stage 5.
  • Ability to engage and motivate a diverse range of learners.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (clear of any convictions or warnings).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
