Justteachers is seeking a dynamic and creative Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Barnsley. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in children aged 3–5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and tailoring teaching to support individual development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.
  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Have recent experience teaching within the EYFS framework.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
  • Be an excellent communicator with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Be committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and respect.
  • A Clear Enhanced DBS check or be willing to undertake one.
  • Two education or school-based references
  • The legal right to work in the UK
