We are on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming and thriving primary school in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support students during their crucial developmental years in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 3/4 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and effective team environment.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support each child’s educational journey.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on Years 3 and 4.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
  • A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Two education or school-based references.
  • A Clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UKThis role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.
