Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
  • Prepare students for transition to secondary school, including SATs preparation
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and contribute to the wider school community

 

 

About You:
The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and SATs requirements
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to nurturing a love of learning and inspiring young minds
  • Two education or school-based references.
  • A Clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UK
