The school is an important part of the local community in Central Manchester. As part of the dedicated team, you will play a key role in ensuring that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the learning and development of children in the EYFS, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Helping to provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to explore, learn, and grow.
• Observing and monitoring children’s progress, recording assessments and providing feedback.
• Help with day-to-day classroom management and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Support children with additional learning needs under the guidance of the teacher.
Requirements:
• Level 3 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting.
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer (references will be education or school-based references).
• To be subject to Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
• The legal right to work in the UK
