Justteachers are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for one of our partner secondary school in Spalding.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire students and create engaging lessons that develop their reading, and writing skills. You will be responsible for delivering the English curriculum, promoting a love for literature, and ensuring students reach their full potential in GCSE exams.

This is a full time role to start after February half term and is expected to be until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum and exam board requirements.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide feedback to improve their academic performance.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Support students’ personal and academic growth both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
  • Previous teaching experience in secondary schools is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Two education/school-based references
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • A clear Enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one
