£160 - £250 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Super Spanish Teacher required at a central Bradford Secondary School for a Maternity Leave starting after the February half term.

Responsibilities 

  1. Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to age and ability.
  2. Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students so as to facilitate progression in students’ learning.
  3. Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the students assigned.
  4. Manage the classroom and teaching equipment so to create a positive learning environment which makes effective use of available resources.
  5. Attend meetings, carry out administrative tasks and duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Passion for Spanish and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject among students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Two education or school-based references
  • An enhanced DBS checks or be willing to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UK
