Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
justteachers is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in one of our partnered schools in Kenilworth.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of pupils, working as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Provide classroom support across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Support individual pupils or small groups, tailoring interventions to meet their specific learning needs.
Assist with preparing teaching materials and classroom resources.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform future planning.
Support children with additional learning needs, implementing strategies to promote their development.
Contribute to the organization and delivery of extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in Key Stage 2.
A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s growth and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
A flexible and proactive approach to classroom support
A valid right to work in the UK (this is a mandatory requirement)
An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
This role complies with AWR (2010) regulations protecting agency workers’ rights.
