Justteachers teaching  agency is seeking a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Warwick  area.  This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, fostering curiosity about the world and preparing students to understand and address global challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 if applicable).
  • Develop students’ knowledge of physical, human, and environmental geography through diverse teaching methods.
  • Inspire students to explore topics such as ecosystems, urbanization, climate change, and population dynamics.
  • Use innovative resources and techniques, including fieldwork and technology, to enhance learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as Geography field trips, clubs, or competitions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and departmental goals.

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: January

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) must hold or be working toward this qualification.
  • A strong understanding of the Geography curriculum, with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Creative and innovative, with the ability to make Geography relevant and exciting.
  • Capable of building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  •  Experience managing a variety of abilities within a classroom.
  •  An interest in organizing and leading field trips to bring Geography to life is a plus.
