We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming school in Coventry This role offers the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, providing cover for PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.

Role Overview:
As a Part-Time PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting the ongoing development of students across different year groups. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons in the absence of class teachers during their PPA time, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across various subjects and year groups, adhering to the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
Ensure the smooth running of the classroom in the absence of the regular class teacher, maintaining discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and provide additional support or challenge where necessary.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to the regular class teacher, contributing to the ongoing assessment and evaluation of student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication regarding students’ progress and welfare.

Start date January 2025 – April 2025 on a temporary basis.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching across different year groups and subjects, preferably within a primary school setting.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and cover a range of subjects as required.
You must have legal requirements to be able to work in the UK.
