Justteachers are working with a large primary school in Coventry who are looking to appoint a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant on a full time basis starting immediately. Experience of supporting pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in a school, specialist or care setting is essential for this post. You will be providing 1:1 support for an identified pupil with Autism (ASD) within KS1 but may be required to support with SEND provisions across the school.
You will be working in a large mainstream Primary school in North Coventry where you would be joining a well established, supportive SEN support team where you will have excellent support from the school’s SENCO. Successful candidates will also be offered continual professional development during your time with the school.
You will need:
Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification
Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs
You must have legal right to work in the United Kingdom
A minimum of two professional references, with one being your last employer
