£80 - £95 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers Teaching Agency is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant or someone with Nursery Qualifications to join a welcoming school in Denton. This position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role after the temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to students.
Assist with small group activities and one-on-one support for students as needed.
Help with classroom management and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Provide pastoral care and support for students, ensuring their well-being and emotional needs are met.
Support children with their individual learning needs, including those with SEN if required.
Work collaboratively with other staff members, including the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.

Additional Information:

This is a temp-to-perm position, offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
The role can begin ASAP or in January if an earlier start is not possible.

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or Nursery Qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3).
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school or nursery setting.
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A patient and nurturing approach to supporting students.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
A proactive and flexible attitude, with a commitment to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
