We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teacher to join an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Boston starting in January 2025. This school provides tailored education for students with challenging behaviour, including Autism and ADHD, fostering a supportive environment to help them succeed.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
  • Work closely with support staff and leadership to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies to support students with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
  • Contribute to the holistic development of students, supporting their emotional and social needs alongside academic progress.
  • Collaborate with the wider school community, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for learners.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching in an SEMH or similar challenging environment.
  • Strong behaviour management skills with a commitment to nurturing and empowering vulnerable learners.
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • A proactive, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
