About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in engaging students who may face barriers to learning. By fostering a love of literature, language, and self-expression, you will help students develop their confidence and skills while inspiring them to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
Inspire students to develop an appreciation for literature and effective communication skills.
Create engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage progress and foster a positive learning experience.
Support students in overcoming challenges, using a compassionate and understanding approach.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies that support positive behavior and academic growth.
Actively contribute to the school’s ethos of resilience, care, and high expectations.

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
A resilient and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Strong behavior management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Enthusiasm for making a difference in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and reflective approach to teaching.
