Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Trafford

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £83-89 per day

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEN or SEMH in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and fellow staff members to ensure the best possible learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, understanding their individual needs and motivations.
  • Support the ethos of the school and contribute to its inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults or children with complex or SEN needs within the last two years, preferably in a care home, residential care setting, SEMH school, or PRU.
  • Dedication to the development and learning of students with SEMH, with a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for working effectively within a professional environment.
  • Ability to establish rapport with students and demonstrate empathy towards their challenges and behaviors.
