justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join one of our partnership schools in North Wythenshawe. This position is initially for one term, starting as soon as possible with the potential to  extend to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.

About the school

Our partner school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Key Stage 2 teacher to join our their team based in a South Manchester Primary School.  The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a dedication to helping pupils learn and grow in an innovative and enthusiastic way. The role will initially be for one term but has the potential to extend to the end of the academic year and possibly beyond.

 

You will:

  • Promote high standards of learning and achievement in subjects taught, by using a variety of teaching methods and skills and using appropriate differentiation.
  • Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge.
  • Ensuring effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained, and best use is made of teaching time.
  • Any other tasks required as directed by the permanent members of staff.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of children and young people at the school.

They are looking for a person who has: 

·      Proven solid experience/teaching practice

·      Experience of working/teaching practice across a variety of Key Stages

·      Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills

·      Excellent skills in team working

·      Excellent skills in working with children

·      Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
