£100 - £115 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Our partner school is working alongside justteachers to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work predominantly in EYFS and lower KS1 but with the confidence to cover other year groups as necessary.

Our partner school is a friendly, progressive and diverse school community in the Central Manchester area. It has fostered a modern learning environment that is constantly evolving and is a supportive, inclusive and exciting place to work. Despite the size of the school it is noted for it’s calm learning environment. Behaviour is noted to be good with disruption levels low. The staff and leadership team are supportive and forward-thinking.

They would be pleased to receive applications from qualified teachers looking to gain more experience before securing a teaching position, graduates with an interest in gaining experience before undertaking a future pathway in the education sector and candidates who have experience of working in similar roles previously.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Have high expectations and the commitment to secure the best outcomes for children;
  • Have the ability to lead and plan a lesson – further training can be given if experience is limited;
  • Have excellent communication and team working skills;
  • Work flexibly under the direction of the Headteacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 or higher Teaching Assistant Certificate)
  • Rcognised EYFS qualification or Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
