Justteachers teaching agency require a passionate Teaching Assistant to work within one of our specialist partner SEN schools located in Lincoln. The school provides education to pupils aged from 4-18 years with a range of complex needs.

This position is to start ASAP is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. The role will be 35 hours per week, term time only. There will be an opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract after a qualifying period of three months.

This is a highly supportive school and could be a good opportunity for any graduates who are aspiring Teaching Assistants or Teachers.

The role is to work with a small group of children with specific needs. As well as supporting the children in the classroom, you will also support with all aspects of life such as life skills, personal care, household skills, leisure and recreation and self-confidence.

To be eligible for this role you will ideally have:

  • Level 2 qualification in working with children or young people or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN or additional needs
  • Be comfortable in assisting with personal care
  • Be creative, warm and inspiring
