We are working alongside a partner secondary school who are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English teacher to join our thriving school community based in Blackburn, Lancashire. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of our students, inspiring them to excel in their studies from Years 7 to 11.

The English role is full time starting ASAP taking you into the new academic year, with a possibility of becoming permanent after a qualifying 20 week period.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English
  • Strong experience of teaching English to KS4 students
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the curriculum
  • Engaging and creative teaching style that motivates and inspires students
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to cater for all learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
