We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher with a specialization in engineering to join our dynamic faculty at a mixed secondary school in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivering engaging and interactive Design Technology lessons with a focus on engineering concepts and principles.
• Teaching students across various year groups, catering to their individual learning needs and abilities.
• Providing hands-on practical experiences in workshops and laboratories to develop students’ technical skills and understanding.
• Integrating technology and digital tools into teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Design Technology curriculum and enrichment activities.
Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status, with experience teaching Design Technology, specifically with a specialization in engineering.
• A passion for design, technology, and engineering, with the ability to inspire and engage students in practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, processes, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
