Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality religious studies education to students across various age groups, inspiring a love for learning and promoting critical thinking in the realm of religious and philosophical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Religious Studies according to the school’s curriculum and standards.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged to express their thoughts and beliefs.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Religious Studies curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Religious Studies, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and tolerance in the classroom.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider ethos and goals of the school.
