Role Overview:

As a Specialist SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for providing essential educational support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This is a full-time, dynamic role that requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be moving between different schools to cover gaps and ensure continuity of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to SEMH students across multiple schools.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with specific needs.

Requirements:

• Qualified or unqualified teachers welcome.
• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
• Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to different school environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
