If so We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Cover Supervisor to join one of our partnered schools in September, the position will be a part time role starting in September 2024.

As a Cover Supervisor , you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by covering lessons in the absence of regular teachers.

You will supervise students, manage classroom behaviour, and support the delivery of pre-set work, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and complete pre-set work • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them understand and complete their work • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning • Support the administration of cover arrangements, including updating records and reporting on student progress • Assist with other duties as required, such as exam invigilation and supporting extracurricular activities • Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment

Requirements: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Flexible, organized, and able to work under pressure

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential

• A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory

• Experience in a supervisory or teaching assistant role

• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational software

• An interest in pursuing a career in education
