We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Secondary School Art Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Thetford, Norfolk. This is a long-term position starting in January  2025, working alongside the renowned education recruitment agency, justteachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons to secondary school students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encourage student creativity and critical thinking through diverse art projects.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Participate in school events, exhibitions, and parent-teacher meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialisation or significant experience in Art Education.
  • Strong communication and oragnisational skills.
  • A passion for art and a dedication to student development.
  • Experience in using various teaching methods and technology to engage students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
