Justteachers teaching agency are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Drama Teacher to inspire and engage the student’s in one of our partnered schools in Thetford. As a Drama Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to foster a love for the performing arts, develop students’ confidence, and cultivate their creative talents.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to students’ abilities and interests
  • Facilitate drama productions, providing guidance and support to students in rehearsals and performances
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into cross-curricular activities and school events
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred)
  • Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement
  • Passion for the performing arts and a commitment to inspiring young minds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
