Job Description:

Are you a passionate Science teacher with a flair for creativity? Our large SEN school in Bradford is seeking an experienced and dynamic Science SEN Teacher to inspire and engage our students. If you can teach combined science up to GCSE level, are resilient, and have a great sense of humour, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspire Young Minds: Teach combined science to students up to GCSE level in an engaging and accessible way.
• Get Creative: Design and deliver imaginative and interactive science lessons tailored to the needs of our students.
• Be Adaptable: Modify teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Support Development: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and curiosity.
• Monitor Progress: Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (EHCPs).
• Engage with Parents: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Science.
• Proven experience teaching combined science up to GCSE level.
• Previous experience in an SEN setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and humour.
• Creativity in lesson planning and delivery to make science fun and accessible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
