About Us:

Justteachers are working with a vibrant and nurturing primary school located in Rugby to seek out a passionate and skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working afternoons only in Reception and Nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Reception class and Nursery children within the EYFS department.
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Support the class teacher with daily tasks, including preparing resources and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Assist in the physical care of nursery children, including changing and feeding when necessary.
  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in line with EYFS standards.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support children’s independence and confidence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience working in a primary school, specifically in EYFS settings (Reception and/or Nursery).
  • Must be comfortable with personal care duties, including changing and feeding nursery children.
  • A warm, patient, and caring approach to working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
