Year 4 Behaviour Intervention Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted behavioural intervention support to Year 4 students
• Implement tailored strategies to manage and reduce challenging behaviour
• Work closely with class teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience managing challenging behaviour in a school setting, preferably within KS2
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with students, fostering trust and respect
• Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk children, implementing behaviour management techniques
• Knowledge of behaviour intervention frameworks and programmes

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with The Prince’s Trust or other youth engagement programmes
• A patient, resilient, and flexible approach to behaviour management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
