An opportunity has arisen within with one of our partner primary schools located in King’s Lynn.

This is a lovely, warm and welcoming small primary school where the staff are supportive and friendly. The school have their staff and their pupil’s best interests at heart and pride themselves on a ‘family-like’ atmosphere.

As the teaching assistant for this position you will be working on a whole class basis supporting the class teacher within KS1. There will also be an opportunity to deliver phonics and reading support to small group Phonics intervention support for the right candidate. The teaching assistant role is to start ASAP and is expected to last until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to extend or become permanent.

You will have:

  • Two references from an education or care provider
  • Experience working within the age range 2-11
  • Previous phonics’ experience is desired but appropriate CPD can be provided by the school
  • Positive and friendly can do attitude
  • Energy, enthusiasm and vision
  • A strong commitment to raising standards
  • The ability to communicate with and inspire children of all abilities
  • Experience of providing a positive learning environment
