Teacher of Science – Keighley

Justteachers is looking for a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry to join the team at a large secondary school in the Keighley area. This full-time role offers the chance to inspire and educate students in a dynamic and supportive educational environment. The candidate will be required to teach at KS4 with a focus on GCSE Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students at various levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a passion for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the Science department.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and a specialism in Chemistry.
• Experience teaching Science at GCSE level.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for education.
