Our vibrant SEN school in Guiseley is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and fun-loving Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our fantastic team! You’ll be working across both our primary and secondary sites, bringing your energy and creativity to every classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Get Creative: Help plan and deliver exciting lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Take the Lead: Show off your leadership skills by leading classes and small groups.
  • Be a Hero: Provide top-notch support to our incredible students, helping them shine and reach their full potential.
  • Team Up: Work alongside our awesome teachers to develop personalized education plans.
  • Spread Positivity: Keep the classroom vibe positive and fun, managing it like a pro.
  • Track Progress: Monitor student progress and share their achievements with teachers and parents.

  • Keep Learning: Join staff meetings and professional development sessions to keep growing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role within an SEN setting is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to lead classes with confidence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A can-do attitude, patience, and a big smile.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is a cherry on top.
