Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

This position is to start in January 2025, on a supply basis initially, the successful candidate will have to possibility to become a permanent member of staff after a 12 week period of supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the national curriculum and school objectives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
• Establish effective communication channels with parents and guardians to promote parental engagement in students’ learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
