£150 - £250 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers is looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Part-Time English Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Chorley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ academic growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. The position is set to begin in December 2024 and will be on a part-time basis, providing flexibility while making a difference in students’ education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students
  • Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with the curriculum
  • Support students’ development in reading, writing, and communication
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Foster a passion for learning and help students reach their potential

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
