About the Role

Justteachers teaching agency is thrilled to be recruiting for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to their early educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to Year 1 students in accordance with the National Curriculum.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans to stimulate and support young minds.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to enhance student learning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Year 1 or in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and early years education.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
