justteachers has a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of Art to join a Secondary School based near Swaffham on a full time basis from October 2024.

The school are looking for an innovative and passionate Art Teacher to join a dedicated and friendly creative department. You will have experience teaching Art at GCSE level and A level.

The school benefits from good systems to ensure learning standards are clear and consistent and aim to make learning enjoyable and challenging in order to provide students with the motivation to succeed throughout their lives. You will be teaching a high-standard curriculum that will encourage students to have a passion for the subject, allowing them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Art according to the school’s curriculum and standards.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students feel valued and encouraged to express their thoughts and beliefs.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Religious Studies curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Business Studies, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider ethos and goals of the school.
