Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join the staff at a thriving secondary school in Halifax. As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Cultivate a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student curiosity and achievement.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that address diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive and supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute effective Maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Create an inspiring classroom atmosphere that motivates and engages students.
• Evaluate and track student performance, setting and working towards academic targets.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with other staff members to contribute to the school’s overall success and growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students.
• A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and improvement.
