Teaching Assistant – Bingley

Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our educational team in the Bingley area on a supply basis. This role involves working closely with teachers and students to support learning, create a positive environment, and ensure the progress and well-being of all pupils.

Main Duties:

• Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering effective lessons and managing the classroom.
• Providing tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Helping with the preparation of lesson materials and classroom displays.
• Supporting students during extracurricular activities and playtime.
• Contributing to a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for all children.
• Collaborating with staff to support the overall development and welfare of the students.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• A caring, supportive, and patient approach.
• Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3
