justteachers is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sheringham. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and eager to contribute to their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting back to teachers as needed.
  • Assist with classroom management and daily administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
