Year 2 Maternity Cover Teacher – Leamington Spa

Justteachers are seeking a skilled and motivated Teacher to cover a Year 2 class for maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience in well regarded school in Leamington Spa. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring that students continue to make progress in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment that promotes respect and positive behavior.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 2.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported with their induction progression
