About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a rewarding part-time teaching position? We are seeking a qualified Year 5 Teacher to work in one of our Coventry schools on a long-term basis, afternoons only. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers to make a significant impact on young learners in a supportive and vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Share planning and deliver engaging and creative lessons for Year 5 students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
  • Follow all school policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working with Year 5 or KS2 students is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
