Job Description: Justteachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Bury, Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching Maths and the ability to inspire and engage students at KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a love of mathematics and problem-solving through innovative teaching methods.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback to help them reach their full potential.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other members of the Maths department and contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Support students in preparation for GCSE exams and help them develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Participate in school activities, parent evenings, and professional development to further improve teaching practice.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Maths or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for Maths.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
• A passion for teaching Maths and helping students develop a lifelong appreciation for the subject.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
