Justteachers is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Huddersfield, teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). If you are a fully qualified English teacher with experience in secondary education, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support students in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and creativity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
• Track and report on student progress, offering extra support where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and national curriculum standards.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Commitment to professional development and the ethos of the school.
