About the Role:

We are looking for an HLTA who can work 3 days per week to support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality education. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children achieve their learning goals, supporting both whole class teaching and small group interventions. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and take responsibility for covering lessons when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Lead small group activities and interventions.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking pupils’ progress.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Support children with additional needs where necessary.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in primary schools.
• Ability to manage small groups and cover whole classes.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
