Teacher of Geography – Burnley

Justteachers is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full-time supply role in the Burnley area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students’ education by joining a welcoming and dynamic team of educators.

Main Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5)
• Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students’ development
• Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress to help them achieve their best
• Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and contribute to the school’s wider community

What We’re Looking For:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to engage students in learning
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
