Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant for one of our Stratford partner schools on a part-time basis, from September. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to young children. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and implementation of activities, supporting children’s learning and development, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development.
• Work with small groups and individual children to provide personalized support and encouragement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational growth of each child.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support each child’s development.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 3 EYFS qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an EYFS setting is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their educational journey.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
