• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
• Salary: £165 – £254 per day

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis.
• Plan differentiated and interactive lessons tailored to the diverse needs and learning styles of students, ensuring that all learners have access to the curriculum.
• Support students’ academic growth, particularly in areas such as reading comprehension, essay writing, and literary analysis, while also promoting confidence in spoken English and presentations.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment by working collaboratively with colleagues in the English department to share resources, ideas, and strategies for improving student outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback, and offering additional support when necessary to help students achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification is essential.
• Experience in teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and exam specifications.
• Strong subject knowledge, particularly in key literary works, grammar, and writing techniques, with a genuine passion for English language and literature.
• Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create an inspiring and disciplined learning environment that encourages participation and enthusiasm.
• A proactive approach to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, ensuring that all school policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
