• Salary: £165 – £254 per day

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
• Plan differentiated and interactive lessons that cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring that all learners can access and engage with the curriculum.
• Support the academic growth of students, focusing on key areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and arithmetic, while building their confidence in applying these skills in real-life contexts.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Maths department to contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment, sharing best practices, resources, and teaching strategies.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure students make measurable improvements in their understanding of mathematical concepts.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Maths, with the ability to break down complex topics into manageable and understandable steps for students.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, following school policies and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
